The Triple


I had made an image of the boy, a garden sculpture that I like, with an image of a sunflower projected onto it. It was at the beginning of a roll of Kodak TMax - and had made only a few exposures. I wanted to load color film, so I rewound the TMax, leaving the leader out - and used color film for a vacation. The TMax was reloaded, and I didn't wind it quite far enough - so there were a few new double exposures created over the originals. An accidental mashup that I like...

Abstractions from the vault...



Just rooting around in an old drive - a pair that I want to print again...

These abstractions are as they appear on the film - they are not computerized effects, abominations, electronic monstrosities - there is no viewfinder, metering, automatic this, automatic that - they are deliberately calculated degrees of abstraction.
